Is FREEZEN free?

Yes — completely free, with no ads, no paywalls and no premium tier. It is an open beta.

Do I have to self-host anything?

No. Create an account and start chatting in your browser. Hosting your own community server is optional — for people who want full control.

How is this different from Discord?

Your DMs and calls are end-to-end encrypted and peer to peer, community servers are self-hosted, and there are no trackers or ads.

What data do you collect?

Your account details, friends list and an encrypted, auto-expiring message mailbox for multi-device sync. No behavioural tracking, no third-party analytics.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, at any time from Settings — your data is removed. Content on community servers lives on the host’s server and is governed there.

Which platforms are supported?

Any modern browser (installable as a PWA), plus native apps for Windows, Linux and Android.
